Teaching Practical Science
Children learn about science best through practical investigations, but the thought of running practical lessons in primary schools can seem daunting.
The primary focus of our service is to make teaching practical science simple. By having regular CPD sessions, all the equipment delivered each term and access to comprehensive resources, including lesson plans, assessments and much more, teaching practical lessons becomes easy and exciting for all.
Every investigation has been carefully chosen to maximise understanding of the subject and develop the scientific skills required and the hands-on lessons have been designed to inspire children
Pupils are encouraged to explore investigations at their own pace and in line with age-appropriate objectives laid out in the lesson plans. The formative and summative assessments help teachers to keep track of pupils’ progress and see the benefits practical science is having week by week.
