CPD
Empiribox Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions offers teachers time to reflect, review and record information on our Programmes of Study (POS) and to explore best practice in teaching science and recording evidence of pupil progress.
Sessions are delivered termly for our subscribing schools and provide opportunities for teachers to improve their skills and confidence in teaching practical science. The Empiribox consultants who deliver the sessions also facilitate teachers’ understanding of all the practical, knowledge and skills aspects of the POS supplied and the necessary science knowledge in each unit.
Regular CPD is a way of ensuring teachers have a full understanding of the POS and generates confidence delivering lessons to their classes as well as allowing for professional development on an ongoing basis.
